Deposit

A deposit may be required prior to ordering any products.

Cancellation

If an order is cancelled after a product has been purchased, a cancellation fee may occur.

VAT

Unpaid balances may be subject to VAT at the rate application on the date of delivery or collection.

Quotations

Our quotations do not include the cost of easing or trimming doors. We can assist, if required, in obtaining the services of a carpenter to whom payment for work on doors should be made direct by the customer.

Furniture

To facilitate speedy and efficient fitting, rooms must be clear of furniture prior to the fitter’s arrival.

Floors

Should solid floors not accept concrete nails and drilling and plugging is necessary, an additional charge shall be made according to the circumstances.

Delivery and Fitting           

Whilst every effort is made to deliver and fit to the customers preferred times, delivery promises are approximate only. As soon as the product is available, we will contact the customer to arrange a fitting date at the earliest convenience.

Plain and Tonal Carpets

Plain and tonal carpets are subject to shading with use due to pile pressure. This is a characteristic of this type of carpet and does not affect the durability of the carpet.

Stored Goods

A minimum of 14 days’ notice is required for delivery and fitting of flooring held in storage awaiting customer’s instructions. Free storage facilities are only available for eight weeks; thereafter a monthly charge will be made.

Colour/Shade

We cannot guarantee an exact shade match as per sample booklet but endeavour to get as close a match as possible.

Balance

An outstanding balance is to be paid in full on completion of the job.

Berbers

All Berber carpets produced involve the use of random blends of natural colours. As a result, when seen in the full widths, a “lined” effect may be apparent which is not always visible in the small display widths. This is not a manufacturing defect but a characteristic of the Berber carpet.

Removal

We offer an uplift and disposal service of existing flooring and carpets for an additional fee.

Floor Preparation

When fitting LVT and vinyl, a smooth floor base is required. If the floor base isn’t visible upon inspection, an extra cost may occur for floor preparation when the existing flooring is uplifted.

Trimming Doors

The carpet fitters do not trim doors. If any door needs trimming, this will be done by a carpenter and a charge will be made directly to them unless it’s included in our costings.

Damages

We will not be responsible for damage to underground pipes or cables.

Guarantee

We guarantee all fitting work for 12 months.
